Katie and I have been married for 11 years. We have three beautiful girls; Avery (5), Piper (3), and Marlowe (1). I became a believer at a young age and have been active in ministry in one way or another since. It wasn't until about seven years ago I truly understood my depravity and utter dependence on God and his grace in my life.
In 2012 we moved back to Spokane as we felt the Lord's calling for the city and its people. Our involvement in Redemption Spokane has only helped confirm our decision to move back as we have been committed since day one. Realizing that God qualifies the called, not calls the qualified, has helped me understand that despite my sin and insecurities I serve a God who continues to carry out His plan for my life. I want to be available and willing for Him to use me for his kingdom as He sees fit.
I ask for your prayers for my marriage and my family as I approach the elder candidacy process humbly and prayerfully, and that the Lord would use me for the care of his people at Redemption Spokane and the advancement of His kingdom.
